I am both surprised and touched by the messages I received after I decided to close down my Facebook and DeviantArt account as well as my other social media accounts.

I hadn't realized so many of you came to my page for inspiration and hope. Some of your messages made me tear up, some made me laugh, others just left me speechless.

All the time I was sharing myself, to grow from critique and to better understand myself. I enjoyed looking at the sort of work my followers made, and seeing what their lives were like, and seeing what they found beautiful or eventful or just wanted to share because they could.

After reading all of the messages, I've decided to keep my DeviantArt account active. I will still be deleting my Facebook though.

Thank you everyone, and I guess this journey is still going.
